What Is the Gospel?
The Gospel — meaning "good news" — is not a self-help program, a moral code, or a religious ladder to climb. It is a
declaration: God Himself entered human history to rescue sinners.
Every human being has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Sin is not merely bad behavior — it is cosmic treason
against a holy Creator. The consequence is death: physical, spiritual, and eternal separation from God. This is the bad news. But
the good news is infinitely greater.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but
have eternal life."

God the Son — Jesus Christ — became a man. Not as a distant observer, but as one who lived among us, touched lepers, wept
at graves, and felt the full weight of human suffering. He was fully God and fully man, and He lived the perfect life that you
and I never could.
Then He went to a cross. Not as a martyr. Not as a victim. He went willingly, as a substitute — taking upon Himself the wrath
and judgment that our sin deserved. He died the death we should have died, in our place, so that we might receive the
righteousness He alone earned.
"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his
wounds you have been healed."

Three days later, the tomb was empty. Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead — defeating sin, conquering death, and proving
beyond all doubt that He is exactly who He claimed to be: the Son of God, the Lord of lords, the Savior of the world.
And now He offers a gift — salvation, forgiveness, and eternal life — to all who repent and believe in Him. This is the
Gospel. This is the Good News.

dead, you will be saved."

God Is Holy
God is perfectly righteous and just. He cannot tolerate sin. His standards are absolute, and He will not let the guilty go unpunished.

Man Is Sinful
Every person has sinned against God. We have broken His law in thought, word, and deed. The wages of sin is death — eternal separation from God.

Christ Is the Answer
Jesus Christ — fully God, fully man — lived perfectly, died sacrificially, and rose triumphantly. He is the only way to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

Faith Is the Response
Salvation is not earned by works. It is
received by grace through faith. Repent of your sin, trust in Christ alone, and you will be saved — forever.
He lived the life we should have lived.
He died the death we should have died.
He rose so we might live forever.
The cross is not a tragedy. It is the greatest act of love in all of history. The resurrection is
not a legend. It is the best-attested fact of the ancient world. Jesus Christ is not merely a
teacher or a prophet — He is the risen Lord, and He is alive today.

A Prayer of Repentance and Faith
Lord Jesus, I come before You as a sinner. I acknowledge that I have broken Your law, lived for myself, andfallen far short of Your glory. I deserve Your judgment, and I have no righteousness of my own to offer You.
But I believe the Gospel. I believe that You are the Son of God — that You came to earth, lived a perfect life,and died on the cross to bear the punishment for my sins. I believe that You rose from the dead on the thirdday and that You are alive right now.
I repent. I turn from my sin and from every false hope I have placed my trust in. I turn to You — and You
alone — as my Lord and my Savior.
Save me, Lord Jesus. Forgive me. Cleanse me. Make me new. I surrender my life to You. I am Yours.

Your First Steps as a Believer
Salvation is the beginning, not the destination. You have been born again into a living hope. God has begun a good work in
you, and He will carry it to completion. Here is how to walk in that new life:
Read the Bible Every Day
The Bible is not merely a religious book — it is the living Word of God. It is how God speaks to you. Begin
with the Gospel of John to know who Jesus is. Then read Romans to understand what He has done. Let
Scripture shape every thought, every decision, every day.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." — Psalm 119:105
Pray Without Ceasing
Prayer is not a religious ritual — it is real conversation with your living Father. Talk to God honestly and
continually. Confess your sins. Ask for help. Thank Him. Worship Him. He hears every word.
"Pray without ceasing." — 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Be Baptized
Be baptized as a public declaration of your faith in Christ.
"Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins." — Acts 2:38
Join a Bible-Believing Church
You were never meant to follow Christ alone. The church is the body of Christ — your family, your
community, your accountability. Find a local church that preaches the Word of God faithfully, where the
Gospel is proclaimed and Christ is exalted. Go. Stay. Serve.
"And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another." — Hebrews 10:25
Tell Someone
You have received the greatest news in the world. You are not meant to keep it to yourself. Tell your family.
Tell your friends. Tell anyone who will listen. The same Gospel that saved you has the power to save them too. You are now a witness.
"Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have." — 1 Peter

Know That Your Salvation Is Secure
If you have truly repented and trusted in Christ, your salvation does not depend on your feelings or your
performance. It depends on what He did on the cross. You are sealed by the Holy Spirit. Nothing — no sin, no
failure, no enemy — can snatch you from His hand.
"I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand." — John 10:28
THE PROMISE
God Does Not Break His Promises
The moment you turned to Christ in genuine faith and repentance, something happened that
nothing in the universe can undo. Your sins were forgiven. You were declared righteous
before God. You were adopted into His family. You received eternal life. This is not based
on your feelings. It is based on the finished work of Christ and the unbreakable Word of
God.
"For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
